As part of their ongoing commitment to community initiatives, for each and every new conveyancing matter opened during the month of March 2018, Wadsworths Solicitors donated £20 to Solihull Special Needs Playgroup resulting in a total donation of £1340.00 which was recently presented to the playgroup by Wadsworths’ Managing Director, John Wadsworth.
The Green Lane Playgroup was formed in 1968 and offers a safe, friendly and stimulating environment for pre-school children with special needs including Down’s Syndrome, cerebral palsy, visual and hearing impairments, feeding problems, global developmental delay, epilepsy, autism and multi-sensory difficulties. Although it receives some limited statutory funding, this doesn’t cover the playgroup’s essential running costs and they are therefore reliant on charitable donations and grants to supplement their fundraising efforts.
Wadsworths are a Shirley based firm of solicitors that have been trusted by the people of Solihull for over 30 years. They pride themselves on their legal knowledge, whilst maintaining a down to earth approach together with their commitment to supporting the local community.
Jo Brown, Chair of the Trustees said ‘’ The support from our local community has always been important to the running of Green Lane Playgroup and we are so appreciative of the very generous donation we have received from Wadsworths Solicitors.
John Wadsworth told us;
“Wadsworths Solicitors are delighted and proud to have been involved in fundraising for Solihull Special Needs Playgroup. We pride ourselves on taking an active part in our local community and are therefore thrilled to be supporting such wonderful cause.”
