Wadsworths Solicitors’ Probate Assistant, Lily Franklin, will be swapping probate for a parachute on Saturday 25th May as she takes on an exciting challenge for a local charity.
Lily will be jumping from a plane 10,000 feet up in the air as she undertakes a tandem skydive to show Wadsworths’ support for Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid.
Lily said: “Whilst it’s a big challenge for me, I have been so encouraged by the support received from my colleagues, friends and family.”
Here at Wadsworths Solicitors, we are proud to get involved in local community and charity initiatives and I’m thrilled with the money already raised for BSWA as I prepare to undertake my skydive.”
Wadsworths are a Shirley firm of solicitors that have been assisting the local community with their legal problems for over 30 years. They remain family run, with members of the Wadsworth family still working with the company.
A representative of Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid said: “We are so incredibly grateful to Lily for committing to a skydive, all to raise money for us! All money raised will go to supporting women and children affected by Domestic Violence.
Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid supports women and children affected by gender-based abuse including domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, female genital mutilation and forced marriage. They believe that women and children have the right to live free from violence, abuse and fear. For further information, please visit https://bswaid.org/
