Wadsworths Solicitors was proudly established in Shirley, Solihull, in October 1986 by Stephen Wadsworth. For almost 40 years, we have been providing trusted legal advice and support to individuals, families and businesses across the West Midlands and beyond.

Stephen spent nearly three decades building the firm’s reputation for delivering exceptional legal services and outstanding client care. In 2010, his son, John Wadsworth, became a Director and Shareholder, helping to continue the firm’s tradition of trusted legal support while guiding its future development.

After 28 years of dedication, Stephen retired in February 2015, leaving behind a thriving practice founded on the values of trust, integrity and client care. Today, Wadsworths is led by four Directors – John Wadsworth, Alexandra Tait, Michael Wadsworth and Gemma Dempsey – who continue to uphold these founding principles while driving the firm’s ongoing growth and success.

In 2020, we expanded our presence by opening additional offices in Henley-in-Arden and Tamworth, enabling us to better serve our growing client base and make our legal services more accessible across the region.
