Wadsworths Solicitors was proudly established in Shirley, Solihull, in October 1986 by Stephen Wadsworth, who dedicated nearly three decades to building the firm’s reputation for exceptional legal services. Stephen ran the practice until 2010, when his son, John Wadsworth, became a Director and Shareholder, bringing a new generation of leadership to the firm.

In February 2015, after 28 years of commitment, Stephen retired, leaving behind a thriving practice built on his strong values of trust, integrity, and client care. Today, Wadsworths is led by four Directors: John Wadsworth, Alexandra Tait, Michael Wadsworth, and Gemma Dempsey, who continue to uphold the firm’s founding principles.

To better serve our growing client base, we expanded our presence by opening two additional offices in Henley-in-Arden and Tamworth in 2020, ensuring greater accessibility to legal services across the West Midlands and beyond.
